The launch of the new AIIMS Principles resources
AFAC is pleased to announce that the new Australasian Inter‑service Incident Management System (AIIMS) Principles Training Resource Kit (TRK) 2025 edition has been launched, alongside the AIIMS Principles Participant Workbook 2025 edition.
Both products are designed to support high‑quality, contemporary delivery of AIIMS Principles training and can be purchased from the AFAC shop: https://www.afac.com.au/marketplace.
The updated AIIMS Principles TRK reflects the changes introduced in the recently released AIIMS Manual 2025 edition, ensuring alignment with current doctrine and practice across the sector.

Policy and compliance
The AIIMS Principles TRK 2025 edition remains fully equivalent to the 22612VIC course in the AIIMS. While the content has been updated to reflect the 2025 AIIMS Manual, the course continues to meet all requirements of 22612VIC.
Comprehensive mapping confirms this alignment, and there are no compliance or reaccreditation implications for registered training organisations (RTOs) or training providers using the updated resources.
