Stewart & Heaton Webinar series proceedings

With an emphasis on workplace resilience and leaders by influence, this event is a component of the Leading Practice in Mental Health Award, sponsored by Stewart & Heaton Clothing Company. The award recognises the need to address the mental health and wellbeing issues faced by fire and emergency services personnel across Australasia.

This event will focus on the 2019 award winning programs:

  • Fire and Emergency New Zealand’s development and delivery of psychological wellbeing workshops for career firefighters, volunteers and corporate employees. Focusing on leaders by position or leaders by influence, the workshops inform cultural change to reduce stigma and normalise mental health conversations.
  • Fire and Rescue NSW’s customised Resilience at Work (RAW) Mind Coach training program. Developed in partnership with the Black Dog Institute, the world first mindfulness-based resilience training program is delivered wholly online.
