AIIMS AWARENESS Training Resource Kit – released in 2023
Available to AFAC Members and licenced RTOs only.
The AIIMS Awareness Training Resources Kit (TRK) is based on 22611VIC Course in Awareness of the Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System 2023. This course is designed to introduce learners to how AIIMS is applied to manage an incident involving multiple agencies so they can:
· support emergency management processes in their workplace or in their local community
· assist with performing a non-managerial role in support of emergency operations.
The TRK contains:
- a trainer guide
- a participant workbook
- assessment guides for both students and assessors
- a full set of classroom presentation slides
- mapping documentation.
The TRK is composed of seven sessions and meets the requirements of an AIIMS introduction/ awareness single-day program. All seven sessions have been mapped, and if completed, can be used as basis to issue a statement of attainment for the nationally accredited short course, 22611VIC Course in Awareness of the Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System, 2023.
