AFAC Council

The AFAC Council is made up of the most senior representative of Emergency Service Member organisations. It meets twice a year and has overall control of the organisation through:

  • Electing seven Directors of the Board (including President, Vice-President and Treasurer) to form the Board
  • Confirming the organisations strategic direction
  • Receiving annual reports on achievement of strategies and priorities
  • Determining policy for the organisation
  • Endorsing AFAC Positions
  • Determining the annual membership fee
