AFAC Knowledge Web Sponsor

Knowledge Web Sponsorship opportunities for 2010 have now been filled.  Any expressions of interest for Sponsorhsip in 2011 should be made to Jay Gleeson AFAC Communications Manager.

The AFAC Knowledge Web is Australasia's fire, land management and emergency service knowledge sharing website. It was developed by the industry, for the industry and hosts a wealth of information.  The site is currently used by all AFAC member agencies and continues to attract new members every week.

The site currently has 1665 members and growing.  This includes all the CEO, Commissioners, Chief Officers and Purchasing/Procurement Managers of Australia and New Zealand’s fire, land management and emergency service organisations.  It is also heavily used by AFAC Group members who are senior representatives of member agencies whose work includes shaping research and policy, developing national or regional positions and assisting each other with solutions to issues that cannot be individually solved.

The site has a large public face and a smaller member area that contains restricted information and a range of collaborative work spaces.
