AFAC has prepared a draft position and discussion paper on the effects of climate change on emergency services.

The draft documents are available under Guides and Positions > AFAC Positions.

We are seeking your feedback on the discussion paper particularly on chapters 3, 4 and 5 remembering the expertise that has already considered the science of climate change.

Your feedback is required to be returned quickly so the papers can be approved at the AFAC September Council Meeting.  Any comments should be provided to Gary Featherston by 25th August 2009.
