Despite the red dust outside the Gold Coast Conference, 1200 delegates from across Australasia are attending the 16th Annual event.

We've had a sellout of our exhibitors and some great talks so far, with standing room only for some events.

The conference was opened by Neil Roberts, Queensland Minister for Police, corrective and Emergency Services, followed by a provocation challenging participants to ask ourselves 'are we meeting expectations?'

The conference continues today and tomorrow at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
