SES National Awareness Week

State Emergency Services (SES) across Australia will be painting the country orange for National SES Week, 7-13 November, to recognise the thousands of SES volunteers who serve their community in times of storms, floods and other emergencies.

To show your support, the SES is asking that you wear orange this Wednesday for WOW Day (Wear Orange Wednesday) to raise awareness of the invaluable contribution that SES volunteers provide to the community.

In addition to WOW Day, buildings and landmarks across Australia will be illuminated in orange to mark this occasion. For a full list of buildings and landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House, Federation Square in Melbourne and the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour, click here.
