The SES Operations Group is made up of the eight most senior operational persons from each State and Territory Emergency Service. The Group considers operational issues applicable to the SES at a national level or matters that cross state and territory jurisdictions.
The Group has been considering:
- SES operational doctrine
- The introduction of AIIMS to the SES
- Implementation and maintenance of urban search and rescue standards
- Road rescue safety
The SES Operations Group, along with the Urban Operations Group have established a working party to investigate the impact of changes in vehicle design on road rescue activities.
